Challenge For Two: Sonja Tajsich is looking for a relay partner – “Experience that special team spirit”

Posted on: Dienstag 11th Juli 2017

“Challenge For Two and You?” This is the motto under which the Challenge Regensburg has been looking for a relay partner for co-organizer and professional triathlete Sonja Tajsich. “Unfortunately, my friend and relay partner Lesyl had to cancel her start at the Challenge For Two. That’s why I’m looking for a new partner, who shares the 226 kilometers with me, now,“ she says.

In 2010, she won Regensburg in front of the local audience. Last year, the event organizer and mom of two went to race in a relay, and this year she’s back doing all three disciplines in the Challenge For Two Relay. She recently proved that she’s back in perfect shape at long distance races in Brazil and Frankfurt. The Challenge For Two will be the perfect training race for the 41-year-old. For her impressive comeback this season, she’s fully focussing on the World Championship at Kona in October. “It does not matter how fast my relay partner is racing the Challenge For Two” she assures. “I am simply looking forward to testing the new format myself and having a great time.”
